Bedlam is, simply put, the Chaos of the mind. The human mind is usually one of the most ordered things that is. However, sometimes there is something that goes wrong with that order. Bedlam is that wrong, a terror beyond comprehension of the sane mind.
Chaos has it's place, and the mind is not one of them. Bedlam is the affliction that is only seen in the worst of the insane. Those who can't see reality for hallucination, those who cannot be of like mind for even a moment, those whose thoughts cannot settle in one place.
Although Bedlam is a piece of Chaos it has it's order behind it. States of Bedlam are caused by imbalances in the brain, or severe traumatic experiences. Bedlam can be occasionally treated by medicines that bring order back to the mind, but it can never truly be stopped.
